I second the armor bit... I had a nasty crash last summer and my armor saved my elbow from reconstructive surgery. Still got a hairline fracture, but the doctor didn't even need to set it. To me, armor is cheap insurance... and an easy way to avoid having to stay home with injuries. Of course, it doesn't make you invincible - armor didn't stop me from being out for a few months recovering from a broken wrist and a separated shoulder.
Nice. I've only made it to Post twice since May... not much riding for me this summer.
